Most mobile mechanics stop at the parts that unbolt from the outside. Jason builds engines, which is a different trade and a different set of hands, and it is the reason a job that another mobile guy called a tow can sometimes stay where it is.
Timing, head gaskets, oil leaks that were never just a gasket, and performance work on top of all of it. If it is genuinely a shop job he will say so rather than start something in your driveway that cannot be finished there.

Questions
Asked Often Enough to Answer Here
Do you do performance work as well as repair?
Yes. Engine builds and performance work are part of what he does, and there are photos of it on this site.
Can a big job be done at my house?
Some can and some cannot. He will look, tell you which one it is, and not talk you into the wrong one.
